My name is María Inés, I am a footwear artisan and the founder of Sol Caleyo, a brand dedicated to handmade wooden clogs made in Spain. From our workshop, we design and produce artisan footwear crafted one pair at a time and made exclusively to order.

My journey into the world of artisanal footwear began years ago, when I discovered my first pair of wooden clogs and the rich tradition behind them. This passion led me to pursue specialized training in handmade footwear design, with a particular focus on the traditional craft of wooden sole making.

Each pair of Sol Caleyo handmade clogs begins as a personal design concept and is carefully transformed into a finished product through a fully manual process. We do not mass produce footwear and we do not keep stock. Every pair of wooden clogs is crafted only after an order is placed.

The wooden soles, the core of our artisan clogs, are handcrafted by an experienced carpenter using traditional woodworking techniques. I personally handle and supervise all leatherwork, ensuring precision, durability, and comfort in every pair of handmade leather clogs.

All Sol Caleyo clogs are made to order, allowing us to dedicate the necessary time to each pair and to adapt them precisely to the selected size. We believe that high quality handcrafted footwear should combine comfort, durability, and timeless design, making our wooden clogs suitable for long-term wear.
