Handmade black leather open toe platform mule sandals with a carved silver buckle, silver studs and a 7 cm straight wenge lacquered wooden heel. Made to order in EU sizes 33-47 and beyond, ready in 20-30 days.
Meet the Route 66 Black Sandals: open-toe, open-back mule sandals in genuine black leather with a vintage-inspired platform silhouette, held by a single wide strap over the instep. A decorative silver buckle carved with floral details sits on the strap, and silver studs along the sides finish the design. The straight heel and platform are in wenge-colored wood. Cut and assembled by hand in our workshop in Spain.
Built by hand, from the ground up
- Wooden heel and platform: a 7 cm straight heel, including a 4 cm platform, in wenge-colored wood finished with lacquer.
- Strap: a single wide strap over the instep, with an open toe and an open back.
- Buckle: a decorative silver buckle carved with floral details, on the instep.
- Outer sole: a black tractor-style rubber sole for grip.
- Upper: genuine black leather.
- Stud detail: silver studs along the sides, placed by hand.
- Inside: a padded insole lined with suede goat leather.
